JOHN CLERKIN

Broker in VT/NH since 1980. John graduated from Hartford High School and the University of Vermont in 1971. In addition to many years of Real Estate and Insurance continuing education, John has earned his G.R.I., a Legal and Paralegal studies graduate certificate (2004), and a graduate certificate in Applied Conflict Studies (2006).

He is also licensed in property and casualty insurance for VT and NH. Since 1980 he has been a real estate associate, broker, sales manager and broker/owner of four different agencies.

Married to Pat Clerkin (an associate in our office) since 1970. The Clerkins have three daughters, three sons-in-law, two granddaughters and three grandsons. They currently live 1n the village of Wilder, VT.

John has served as president of the Windsor County Board of Realtors, past president and director of the MLS (now NNEREN), and was Realtor of the Year in 1986.

In addition to professional service, John has served as a Hartford Selectman, Justice of the Peace, Grand juror, , Agent to Prosecute and defend suits and from 2007-2010 was elected and served in the State of Vermont House of Representatives. Currently he is serving as the Town Treasurer of Hartford, VT.

PATRICIA CLERKIN

Pat is a graduate of Hartford High School and the University of Vermont. She has been a licensed VT and NH real estate broker since 1981.

Pat her husband John (the principal broker) have three daughters and sons-in-law, two granddaughters and three grandsons. Pat is a past president of the Windsor County Board of Realtors and a member of the Windsor Board. She is also involved with Everybody Wins VT as a reading mentor at the White River School At the ClerkinAgency she is the administrative guru. She oversees the listing inventory, accounts, and the general supervision of the office.

Pat's extensive experience in the field gives her perspective, patience, and the understanding required to assist others with their real estate needs. She especially enjoys meeting people
new to the Upper Valley and helping them get familiarized with their new home.

BILL "DOWNTOWN" BROWN

Bill is a lifelong resident of the area with 27 years experience as a sales associate in residential real estate.

Following service in Vietnam, he pursued a career in social services and physical therapy. Bill is married to Joanne Brown (a nurse at Dartmouth Hitchcock). They have two children who were educated in local schools .. Their daughter Molly is a graduate of Columbia University and is working as a nurse practitioner. Their son Casey is pursuing a degree in social services. The Browns live in White River Junction, VT.

Volunteering in the local community and recreation department gives Bill a great deal of satisfaction. For 40 years he has coached various youth teams, Special Olymoics and conducted countless "open gyms". In 1 999 he was named Hartford Volunteer of the Year. He
is also a founding board member Hartford Teen Center.

In addition to his real estate career, Bill currently works part-time for the Boys and Girls

ALEX DEFELICE, Jr.

Alex is a lifelong resident of Hartford, VT and Lebanon, NH. He has over 20 years of experience in business ownership, marketing products, and customer service. Alex is always focused on the clients' and customers' needs first. He is a licensed sales agent in NH and VT and is a member of the Windsor County Board of Realtors.

Alex graduated from Lebanon High School, but attended Hartford schools for many years prior. After attending Plymouth State College, he started his own company, DeFelice Family Furniture, Mattress and Appliance on Main Street in West Lebanon, NH. Alex and his wife Candice still operate the store to date.

Alex is married to Candice DeFelice who is a store merchant and Mom. They have four children; one daughter and three boys who all attend Hartford schools. Alex is a lifelong sports fan and participant of many baseball/softball, football and hockey leagues as well as a volunteer
coach for little league baseball and UVHA youth hockey. You may also see him running or walking throughout the Upper Valley.

Dot is an Upper Valley native and currently lives in West Lebanon with her husband, Mike. She has two grown children, Amanda and Cody, who also live in the Upper Valley. She also enjoys spending time with her granddaughters, Paeton and Aubree.
Dot comes to TCA after almost 10 years in the business. She is licensed in both Vermont and New Hampshire and is a member of the Windsor County Board of Realtors.
Dot enjoys meeting new people and being a part of their real estate goals.
When not working in real estate, Dot enjoys spending time with her family, attending sporting events and traveling.
